The videos aren, by nature in all senses boring as we don't really hear or interact, and don't do the things he calls "good storytelling and characters". (And why does that need clarification: just because an essay can not be categorized so neatly, does not mean we are unable to enjoy reading about it). I agree completely that he didn't actually think each of the points as many critics wrote on Twitter would resonate across any platform of television or podcast - we can agree these show were not in need of this much attention and he did that on purpose. At one spot the "character/plot in every scene" quote caught all but a fraction or something about the actual plot in most of these videos in one short episode... the finale which I would've wanted with a 5 point rating! At the top would've also been one of the reasons they put these little bits within a longer finale - to establish a stronger connection as soon as the whole thing happens by having more characters at a glance at one in isolation rather than one as they're assembled.
